Approach
Paul partners with his patients and families to develop a treatment plan that supports an individual's mental health, developmental needs and physical health. Paul is known for his caring and collaborative approach. This often involves ongoing communication with parents, teachers, therapists and primary care providers. His practice philosophy centers on education and therapeutic support. He uses medication, not as a fix, but as a tool to facilitate a greater capacity to build skills and gain insight. He appreciates that mental health is achieved when all facets of our person are cared for.

While medication can be a very meaningful intervention, Paul believes it is imperative to be cautious and deliberate about its use. He engages individuals in learning how a medication may impact their mind and body, while also targeting debilitating symptoms in need of relief.
When medication is not needed, Paul works with clients to develop a plan for care, support and intervention. He offers recommendations and resources relevant to each individual.
